Our Story
Train with the Champions started in Lancaster in 1981. At the time, residential courses at Crystal Palace took place under Japanese instructors such as Sensei Eneoda, Kase, Shirai and Tanaka. Many people within the KUGB expressed interest in having a similar course take place but with British Instructors. So, as a trial, six instructors came together for a week-long residential course in Lancaster which they named "Train With The Champions".
This summer course brought together over 270 karateka, and the success of the course led it to be held annually, with following years having the course held over two weeks! In 1985, due to its popularity, this was expanded to Torbay, Devon, to make it more accessible to those living in the south. Today, these courses see people travel not only from around the UK, but from around the world!

For brown belts and above you can do up to 12 classes in the week and it's a fantastic focus on your karate with detailed and concentrated tuition."

Access to all 9 core classes as well as both Dan Grading Classes for brown belts and above.

INDIVIDUAL CLASS
£20 per person
Can be purchased for any of the core classes or for either of the Dan Grading classes.
